TELEPANDA turns a Google Doc into a teleprompter script. It runs entirely in your browser. There is no TELEPANDA server or database, and no copy of your documents is ever sent anywhere except back to your own Google Drive.
What it can access
TELEPANDA asks Google for a single permission, drive.file. That lets it open only:
- Google Docs you choose yourself in the Google file picker, and
- the TELEPANDA copies and the TELEPANDA folder it creates for you.
It cannot see, list or change anything else in your Drive.
What it does with that access
- It reads the doc you pick, so it can show you which lines it plans to remove.
- It creates a new doc whose name starts with “TELEPANDA”, or updates one it made before, or reformats the original if you choose that option.
- It saves your formatting choices (font, size, colours) in your own browser's local storage.
It does not keep, sell, share or analyse your documents or account information. There are no ads or analytics trackers. Your Google sign-in token stays in the open browser tab and is gone when you close it.
Google API Services User Data Policy
TELEPANDA's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
You can revoke TELEPANDA's access at any time from your Google account permissions. Docs it created stay in your Drive until you delete them.
